PROJECT ANNOTATION:

Crucial points of the project include the analysis of the necessity of the project and a comparative analysis of the motor skills of children in their first year of basic schools in the Carlsbad and Chemnitz Regions. The results of this project will be used to prepare an international intervention project focused on improving the health and motor skills of children and youth. Thus, heightening the quality and intensity of cross-border cooperation should also have a positive impact on decreasing the health risks linked to inactive lifestyle in the populations of both regions. Academic staff from the Department of Physical Education and Sport of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and the Department of Sport Medicine and Biology of TU Chemnitz and also teachers of first years of basic schools in the Carlsbad and Chemnitz regions. An integral part of the whole project team will also be students of the Faculty of Teaching of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and the Institute of Applied Kinesiology at TU Chemnitz.
