Based on the results of analysis and evaluation of principles, procedures, methods and tools for tertiary sector transformation to technical, economic, social and environmental conditions of Society 4.0 and based on results of analysis and evaluation of changes in knowledge and qualification requirements on employment positions with respect to the onset of Society 4.0, methodics for early adaptation of small and medium-sized enterprises in tertiary sector to changes in business environment will be developed with the aim to ensure the sustainable growth and new competitive advantages and prevent and eliminate the threats arising from the misunderstanding of new concept of information and communication methods and tools in business processes of SMEs in the tertiary sector. The need to create the complex solution of small and medium-sized enterprises in tertiary sector adaptation on technical, economic, social and environmental conditions of Society 4.0 – Industry 4.0 is based on the demand for this solution in business practice. Survey of usefullness was realized by analyzing the requirements resulting from personal interviews and discussions mainly with representatives of six external application guarantors (Regional Economic Chamber of the Pilsen Region, Czech Labor Office - Regional Office in Plzeň, South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce, Czech Labor Office - Regional Office in České Budějovice, South Bohemian Society for Human Resources Development, c.s.o, Regional Authority of the South Bohemian Region) and managers of SMEs in the tertiary sector. The initial survey revealed the unpreparedness of the tertiary sector to implementation of the principles, procedures, methods and tools of Society 4.0 concept, including the lack of knowledge of changes in knowledge and qualification requirements for employee positions with respect to the onset of Society 4.0.
