PROJECT ANNOTATION:
Companies want to use artificial intelligence (AI). Data quality is key to success. In the Bavarian-Czech border region, low data quality is a central problem, caused by economic differences dating back to the Iron Curtain and complex cross-border supply chains, which can involve up to 30 different entities per transaction. In addition, different conditions, languages and subcultures complicate cooperation and increase the risk of further data quality problems.
The project aims to sustainably improve data quality in 40 different SMEs while preparing them for future technologies. Innovative methods for assessing and ensuring data quality using artificial intelligence are being developed, while know-how is being transferred. Given the economic interconnectedness caused by cross-border supply chains, purely national solutions are not enough. Legal, linguistic and cultural differences require that newly developed innovations be applicable on both sides of the border. The project beneficiaries are mainly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which will gain better data quality through individual audits and consultations, methods using artificial intelligence, workshops, seminars and recommendations for best practices. Another target group is students and future decision-makers, for whom practically oriented training is prepared.
